Celebrate Black History Month with YWCA Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley by participating in the Great Race Against Racism starting February 1 and concluding on February 28.
Participants will download the interactive “GooseChase” app on their mobile phone and race to collect points by exploring over 20 historically significant locations for our BlPOC communities in Knox and Anderson Counties! The Beck Cultural Exchange Center, Odd Fellows Cemetery and Downtown Burlington are just a few of the spots on the Great Race Against Racism!
With the GooseChase app in hand, participants will visit locations and submit photos, geographically “check-in” or complete tasks while collecting points for each completed “mission.”
Create a team today by downloading the GooseChase app on your mobile phone, creating an account, searching for “YWCA Great Race Against Racism” and waiting for the race to kick-off on February 1!
