He was a gracious colleague and dear friend to the East Tennessee History Center, where his work and legacy will be preserved in perpetuity. Our deepest condolences to all who benefited from knowing and working with "Bob."
The idiomatic and proverbial expression a picture is worth a thousand words is used to convey that a picture, or image, or graphic illustration may better convey or describe something than many written or spoken words—in this case Dr. Robert "Bob" Booker you are the written image for so many.
